Adding a Payment Method to Your
WhatsApp Business Account

Meta Business Suite (previously Facebook Business Suite) provides a comprehensive platform for managing your business across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. By adding a payment method to your WhatsApp Business account through Meta Business Suite, you can simplify transactions, allowing customers to pay for your products and services effortlessly. Step 1: Configure Meta Business Suite

Sign In

◉ Access Meta Business Suite: Open your web browser and navigate to Meta Business Suite.
◉ Sign In: Enter your Facebook account credentials associated with your business. If you don’t have an account, follow the on-screen instructions to create one.

Step 2: Access the Settings Menu

Launch Meta Business Suite: Make sure you're logged in and on the main dashboard.
Navigate to Settings: Click the settings icon in the bottom left corner to open the settings menu.

Step 3: Select the Account

◉ Accounts Section: In the settings menu, locate and click on the “Accounts” option in the left sidebar.
Select WhatsApp Accounts: Choose “WhatsApp Accounts” from the list of available accounts.

Step 4: Choose Your WhatsApp Account

Select Your Account: Click on the WhatsApp Business account you wish to manage payments for.

Step 5: Go to Payment Settings

◉ Payment Settings: On the WhatsApp account management page, locate and click on “Payment Settings.”

Step 6: Add a Payment Option

◉ Start Adding Payment Method: In the payment settings, click on “Add Payment Method.
◉ ”Enter Business Location and Currency
: Input your business location and choose the correct currency.

Step 7: Select and Enter Payment Details

Choose Payment Method: Select your preferred payment method, either a debit or credit card.
Enter Card Information: Provide the necessary card details:
  • Name on Card: Enter the name exactly as it appears on the card.
  • Card Number: Input the 16-digit card number.
  • Expiry Date: Specify the card's expiration date (MM/YY).
  • CVV: Enter the 3-digit card verification value, typically located on the back of the card.

Step 8: Save Payment Method

Save Payment Method: Once you've entered all the card details, click “Save” to securely store your payment method.

Step 9: Confirm the payment method (If Necessary)

◉ Complete Verification: Some card issuers may require extra verification steps. Follow the prompts to verify your card details if needed.

Step 10: Verify the payment method.

◉ Initiate a Test Payment Request: Open your WhatsApp Business app, start a chat, tap the attachment icon, and choose “Payment” (if available).

◉ Send and Finalize the Test Transaction:
Send the payment request to a test contact or secondary number, then follow the prompts to complete the transaction and verify that everything functions smoothly.
